Meet Our Associate

Susanne Wiebauer

Susanne is a research consultant and translator. She specialises in qualitative research and analysis. 

 

As Associate of Santra Consulting, she regularly conducts research tasks, including desk research, documentation review, conducting stakeholder interviews, as well as survey and data analysis for a range of projects in the cultural heritage and arts sector. She has recently worked on the Evaluation of the Horizon Showcase (for Battersea Art Centre), an evaluation of an AHRC-funded early careers fellowships programme (for V&A Museum), as well as the Evaluation of the German Federal Foreign Office’s Cultural Preservation programme. 

 

She also works for a number of market research companies, conducting qualitative research and providing advice on the German market place. This work includes the customisation of study guides, community and focus group moderation, translation of market research guides, analysis and reporting of qualitative market research studies.

 

Susanne’s previous experience comprises a range of roles in the cultural, heritage and media sectors, including as Assistant in the University Library of Heidelberg (Germany), Research Assistant at the Institute of Anthropology at the University of Heidelberg, as Exhibition and Marketing Assistant for the University of Frankfurt and the Museum of Anthropology Heidelberg, and Research Assistant for Turkish News Channel TV8.

 

Susanne has an undergraduate degree in Social Anthropology from University of Heidelberg (Germany). She is a native German and Turkish speaker, fluent in English and Spanish, as well as speaking French and basic Maori.
