Shreya Gautam

Shreya is a research consultant specialising in quantitative research in the policy sector with 5+ years of experience working with local governments, nonprofits and research institutions. 

 

Shreya worked as the Research and Evidence Manager at London Funders (now, Funders Together) where she designed and led research on the Equity and Justice project - mapping funding landscape for 200+ organisations working to improve social equity and justice in the UK. The research contributed to improved knowledge on the funding landscape crucial for making policy decisions for stakeholders such as the GLA and key funders such as the National Lottery Community Fund. Shreya has also worked at Paul Hamlyn Foundation as a project manager, leading design and delivery of the Migration Residential. Prior to her work in the UK, Shreya worked in international development, with projects spanning across the US, India, Kenya and Indonesia - working on a mix of qualitative and quantitative research to improve livelihoods. Shreya has contributed to a number of Santra’s projects, including the evaluation of the Wandsworth London Borough of Culture programme, the Royal Observatory Greenwich’s NLHF-funded First Light project, and the Here & Now Performing Arts Showcase at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for Battersea Arts Centre, FABRIC and GIFT.

Shreya holds a MA in International Relations from the University of Chicago and a BA Hons. and Advanced Research Diploma from Ashoka University.
